Welcome to Evening Shade Suites and Apartments, a cozy, comfortable Inn netstled in the beautiful mountains of Highlands, NC overlooking the lake and 9th fairway of the Highlands Falls Country Club. Upon your arrival, you will find a lovely, comfortable, inviting room with a large deck and a beautiful view. Each room has cable TV, HBO, and Telephones, as well as an adjacent living room with a large fireplace, TV, VCR, with current movies, and a well stocked library for your enjoyment.
In the morning you are invited to enjoy a complete gourmet breakfast. For the early birds, we serve coffee on the main floor deck, on cool mornings in front of the fireplace in the large living room. During the day you may wish to join others for a game of croquet, badminton, or a stroll around our specious grounds. Relax on the deck or in our comfortable outdoor lounging areas and enjoy the view and the cool fresh mountain breeze.
There are many side trips. In the afternoon, please join us for afternoon tea, refreshments, and appetizers. Barbecue and picnic areas are available for your use on the grounds. Our area has a variety of shops within walking distance: gift shops, clothing shops, garden shops, and we also have an Espresso and Coffee Bar as well as a gift shop adjacent to our Sutes and Apartments.
